Trustees will learn the key principles, motions, and procedures outlined in the newly revised 12th edition of Robert’s Rules of Order. The course aligns with the Framework for School Board Development and prepares trustees to govern their districts with enhanced efficiency, fairness, and productivity.
Reminder: For Texas School Boards, the chair is typically referred to as the “Board President.” The Board President is elected by the board members and serves as the presiding officer during board meetings.
